The Challenge
Need For Office needed an e-commerce platform beyond what off-the-shelf carts support: multi-level product categories, multi-image galleries, wishlists and reviews, a store-credit/loyalty wallet, and a CMS a non-technical admin could actually run.
The Solution
We built a custom Laravel 11 application from the ground up — multi-level category trees, multi-image galleries, wishlist and review systems, Stripe checkout, and a full store-credit/loyalty wallet (CreditRule, CreditSetting, CreditTransaction, OrderCreditLog, UserWallet models) governing how credit is earned, capped, and spent. Media was later migrated to Cloudinary for reliability and performance, and a page-builder-style CMS was added so non-technical staff could edit site content without a developer.
The Outcome
A production platform handling real orders, wallet-based store credit, and day-to-day content edits entirely through an admin CMS — no developer involvement needed for routine updates.
